I have a life long fascination with the beauty in textures, patterns, and colors found in nature, and how it relates to the feminine form. All parts of life are magnificent, A dried curled up leaf , a seed pod, a knothole , burnt logs from a fire, the colors of moss and berries, This is were most my inspiration comes from. I am always finding new techniques of simulating these textures and incorporating them into the figure or into the organic shapes I paint.

I can take a piece of anything and everything , natural and manmade and integrate these parts to build an intriguing whole. These patterns are universal. You can go from microscopic life to a huge nebula in space, into our thoughts and feelings and find that we are all connected . We are all made from the same matter , all life is one.

I try to avoid planning the piece in advance, it evolves, it flows and develops as I work. I bring out the images I see, created from the organic medley of line, shape, and color. I want people to feel and connect with the abundance of beauty that’s around them, right under there feet. I want my images and colors to inspire and awaken everyone so they can experience what I am feeling while I create my passion through art.
